PORG

The PORG educational institution, founded in 1990 as the first private school in the Czech Republic since 1948, associates several elementary and grammar schools in Prague and Ostrava, whose comprehensive level of provided education is one of the best in the Czech Republic both among state and private schools. From the academically-oriented secondary schools based in Prague, PORG is represented by PORG Libeň and Nový [new] PORG, a Czech school with international standards. Clear evidence of the high level of education is not only the excellent results of these schools in nationwide comparative evaluations, but also the exceptional success of graduates gaining admission to universities. Studies at Nový PORG are completed both with the standard Czech maturita school leaving exam and with the International Baccalaureate (IB) that is accepted by the majority of leading foreign English-speaking universities, giving students the possibility to decide whether they want to continue studying at a university in the Czech Republic or abroad. PORG Libeň makes it possible for its best graduates to study for free at prestigious universities in Austria. Compared to other private high schools offering comparable education tuition at PORG schools is much more affordable. Textbooks and exercise books are provided for students for free. PORG schools are known for their friendly atmosphere and emphasis on mutual respect and tolerance. The most important values at PORG schools are the individual development of each student and their self-reliance during studies.
