Pizzeria Grosseto

Pizzeria Grosseto is one of the most popular Italian food chains in Prague. Offering locations in Dejvice (the original location), Vinohrady (the interior is fun with a mural of Sienna on the walls and striped kelly green and navy blue Venetian poles to tie your gondola to), Pruhonice, and Brumlovka, Pizzeria Grosseto covers a good amount of ground across the city. These popular restaurants are always packed for lunch and dinner and it is easy to see why. Pizzeria Grosseto offers inexpensive, authentic Italian food in a cheery atmosphere with a very friendly staff. The secret to making authentic Italian pizza is that all of the restaurants feature a traditional Italian oven, the design brought to Prague by Gianfranco Turbanti, the stove-maker from the Tuscan village of Grosseto. After you are seated, the prompt staff will serve you complimentary fresh bread with zesty garlic and herb butter, a real treat in the city of Prague. Pizzeria Grosseto features an extensive and exciting food menu to choose from including splendid starters, large crisp salads, various pizzas and fresh pasta dishes as well as meat entrees. May we recommend the olives seasoned with pesto made of fresh peppers served with garlic, oregano and sesame seeds, simply delicious with the bread, and the delectable Melanzane Pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, grilled eggplant, fresh basil and fresh tomatoes. Top it all off with a nice Chianti and your evening is made! The wine list is as impressive as the food menu; the pizzeria offers Whites from Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Sardinia, Piedmont and the Czech Republic, while Reds are offered from Veneto, Piedmont, Tuscany, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily and the Czech Republic. The restaurants feature al fresco dining in the summer, with the Marina location in Prague 1 offering dining on a boat in the Vltava and unparralelled Prague Castle views. Don’t forget to stop in Pizzeria Grosseto’s Italian Delicacy shop Bianco&Rosso, where you can purchase a variety of Italian gastronomic products and of course, wine.
