Glen Hansard
Glen Hansard will perform in Prague on September 30, 2011 at 8 p.m. at the Archa Theater as part of his European Tour that will see him perform twelve concerts in 10 countries. Hansard, a native of Dublin, Ireland is an Academy Award winning songwriter, singer and guitar player for The Frames and The Swell Season. He has also stared in the film Once and The Commitments. It is for the song Falling Slowly, co-written with Markéta Irglová from the film Once, that Hansard and Irglová won the Academy Award in 2007 for Best Original Song. Fans can look forward to hearing classic songs from The Frames repertoire and The Swell Season as well as new songs. The concert will also feature special guest Mark Geary.
