Radare (DE) + FDK (CZ)

Radare to play at Chapeau Rouge! German band RADARE is a must-see band for people who like dark sophisticated avant-garde music (such as Kayo Dot). They were founded after noise-core heroes Actress called it quits and are one of Germany's brightest hopes in this genre at the moment. Where others only copy their idols RADARE has created something totally different, something fresh. This band with the remarkable trombone probably is the perfect symbiosis of Neurosis, Earth and Bohren & der Club of Gore, constantly driven by extremely dynamic drumming and sporadically enriched by electronic elements. In their still relatively short career they already shared stages with several famous bands (God Is An Astronaut, This Will Destroy, Long Distance Calling, Junius, etc.) and have amazed all audiences since their very first show. The debut record 'Infinite Regress’ was released last year and received top scores in magazines and online platforms. Right now the band is working on a new EP. FDK is an atmospheric post hard-core band from Prague. After releasing their last album Earthlinked (2010) the majority of Czech music critics praised them as one of the very few Czech bands that could possibly be compared to famous bands such as Isis or Cult Of Luna. FDK has sophisticated their compositions, reduced growling but kept the intensity of their music. Therefore they will be a more than interesting opener for Radare. www.fdkband.com
