Invisible Exhibition Prague

The Invisible Exhibition in Prague presents an opportunity for its visitors to experience what it is like to live without your sight, the sense that provides our brain with the most information. Blind or partially sighted people will guide you through the whole exhibition. In total darkness you will find your way only by touch, sounds, scent and sense of balance. The aim of this exhibition is to show people what real life of the blind is like and what possibilities we have to understand and help them. You will experience for example, how to walk in the hustle and bustle of a city or in a wooded area, how to wash yourself, turn on a microwave, pay for a cup of coffee or choose the right spices for your lunch. You will learn to know objects that the blind people use in their everyday life, e.g. talking clocks or the Braille system. Try it on your own and see if one hour of blindness will open your eyes. Do not forget to make a reservation of your tour, which are also made in foreign languages. More information at www.neviditelna.cz.
