Extravagant Multi-instrumentalist Patrick Wolf to play at Akropolis

A great British singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and showman Patrick Wolf is coming back to Prague after two years with his long expected album Lupercalia. The 28-year-old Londoner, one of the most significant personalities of contemporary British pop, gained his deserved attention with his first album called Lycanthropy from 2003 that combined intimate songwriting with innovative electronic music. Patrick Wolf chooses unusual musical procedures and experiments with album formats, as well as with ways of distribution. One of his biggest aims is to be original, which he achieves very well. His live performances present a combination of fashionable extravagance and emotionally intensive music. Patrick is a storyteller and has a unique ability to draw listeners into his own world full of strange creatures. On the stage he uses violin, ukulele and mandolin as well as his theatrical talent to grip the attention of spectators. You should not therefore miss his concert that will take place on the 29th of November 2011 in the big hall of Palác Akropolis in Prague starting from 7:30 p.m.
