The TINA B. 2011 Festival held by the Vernon Gallery will present a selection of quality contemporary art in the area of new media, light art, video art, performance and more. Already for the sixth time this year some one hundred progressive artists from all over the world will come to Prague in order to display their unconventional “green“ works of art at this year's festival whose topic is ART – ECO – BIO. The festival that will take place from the 20th of October till the 13th of November 2011 will have several centers, the most interesting of which is probably the fallout shelter under the Jalta Hotel on Wenceslas Square. A part of this space will also be the section ECO BIO GOES AROUND THE WORLD that will present, among others, an artist of Czech origin, Shalom Tomas Neuman and his colorful light installation called Neo Nuky Madona. The German section will present works of seven artists from neighboring Germany. At the (A) Void Gallery under the Rašínovo nábřeží you will be able to see exhibitions and open-air installations. The section URBAN MAPS exploring urban space will present dozens of artists including the radical Serbian performer Marina Abramovic. TINA B. will also display works of many artists in its own space – at the Vernon Projekt, the Vernon Gallery in Prague 7 and at the brand new Vernon Depot exhibition space located at U Průhonu 22 in Holešovice. Three video art projections will take place at Bio Oko.
