New Folk Talent Haight Ashbury to Play at Akropolis

One of the most original bands in the field of alternative folk and psychedelic music, Haight Ashbury, will play at Akropolis on Monday January 23rd, 2012. The band was named after a quarter in San Francisco, which was a mecca for hippies in the sixties. Siblings Scott and Kritty and their childhood friend Jen formed the band Haight Ashbury in 2007. The British BBC and other European and American music stations play songs of this talented group of the British independent music scene regularly.
