The Stranglers
The MeetFactory cultural complex is proud to present The Stranglers on April 20th, 2012! The Stranglers, an English music group formed in 1974 in Surrey and went on to experiment with various sounds including elements of rock, punk, new wave, art rock, gothic rock and sophisticated pop that can be heard with some of their 80s output. The band’s early sound, which would become their most famous featured keyboards a plenty and melodic bass lines. The Stranglers musical career has spanned five decades in which they have over 20 UK Top 40 singles and 17 UK top 40 albums. Mainstream success followed the band with their singles “Golden Brown”, “No More Heroes”, “Always the Sun”, “Skin Deep”, and “Peaches”. Tickets are available at www.ticketportal.cz
