Masquerade in State Opera Prague

The Municipality of Prague and the Starmanagement organizing agency cordially invite you for the unique gala evening called Masquerade that will take place on March 9th, 2012 at the magnificent State Opera Prague. The aim of Masquerade is to revive the past tradition of famous balls that took place at the court of the French Ruler Louis XIV and introduce them in Prague with their pomposity, grandeur and subtleness, as well as etiquette and firmly set rules of social interaction. All participants of Masquerade will therefore be dressed up in spectacular gowns and hide their faces under masks. The Sun King, Louis XIV who loved exuberant gaiety of all kinds, inspires the first year of this ball of masks.
