Princess Chelsea comes to Jazz Dock
The New Zealand singer Princess Chelsea will perform at Prague's Jazz Dock on May 3, 2012 . Princess Chelsea is the stage name of a talented young singer, pianist, and composer Chelsea Nikkel who mixes classical music with orchestral pop and electronic music. She is currently one of the most significant discoveries in New Zealand. At Jazz Dock Princess Chelsea will perform as part of her European tour and introduce her debut album Lil´ Golden Book released last year. Chelsea Nikkel studied classical piano play from early childhood and later played other instruments as well. Her album shows Chelsea's love for melodies from old Walt Disney fairy tales and movies by Wes Anderson, as well as inspiration by Kraftwerk, Enya, and Dr. Dre. In every song she tells a story from her life.
