The main premiere of this year's annual Summer Shakespeare Festival, which will enliven the Supreme Bugrave's House of the Prague Castle, will be Richard III with Jiří Langmajer playing King Richard. Spectators of the open-air theater can look forward to the comedies The Taming of the Shrew, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Love's Labour's Lost, the historical play Henry IV, and the famous Romeo and Juliet, as well as to the Slovak version of Richard III with the Slovak actor Robert Roth in the main role. Besides Prague, this year's festival will also be hosted in Plzeň, Brno, Ostrava and two cities in Slovakia. The first Prague performance will take place on June 26, 2012 and the festival will then go on throughout summer until September 7, 2012.
