Ever since 1999 the Khamoro World Roma Festival has been taking place in the beating heart of one of Europe’s most fascinating city. The Khamoro World Roma Festival exists in order to present to the world the overall complexity, color and richness of the culture and traditions of the Roma people. The festival also seeks to integrate the Roma community into Czech society. Take some time out of your busy schedule and get to know the complex Roma culture that includes passionate music such as intricate guitar playing and Roma opera, Roma dancing (workshops available), lovely colorful costumes and informative exhibitions, films and much more.
