Freestyle Mondays at Chapeau Rouge
Freestyle Mondays is an event running simultaneously in New York, Strasbourg, France and for the second year, in Prague’s Chapeau Rouge club. It is not just any old, regular open mic jam. Freestyle Mondays has a live band and DJs supporting the emcees or singers. MC Metoděj and Dozer host the event. Freestyle Mondays is calling all emcees, beatboxers, singers and musicians for another monthly jam on Monday, May 21. This time you can look forward to a showcase by a remarkable hard-hop band called Rapublica. For the first time the event will feature live band Gangstas Fellas comprised of: Šimon Hajdovský – drums (Akline, Manželé, Projekt C.h.u.j, The Radicals), Jirka Hes – bass (První hore, Sinuhet) and Bertram Rajs - piano (První Hore, Kašpar Melichar, Rajs). The musicians and emcees will be accompanied by the incredible singer Flowe aka Bára Lišková. Providing the entertainment on the wheels of steel during the whole night will be DJs Crew, Dragon, Patron a Shock O´. This time around, you can also watch the live streaming on Freestyle Mondays online! If you’re not from Prague or you have to work the next day, you can join our New York family and with just a click witness the whole event at www.chapeaurouge.cz/vysilame/. The show starts after 8 P.M. and finishes before midnight so you will have a chance to get at home on time, especially if you have to go to work or school the next day.
