LUSTR 2022
The 9th year of the largest Czech festival of illustration and comics. The main exhibition, entitled Wild Boars, will map the Czech tradition of expressive illustration, from Jiří Šalamoun and Václav Kabát to today's young faces. Egle Zvirblyte, Andrew Tseng, Paul Waak, and Sarah Maria Schmidt will be introduced as the festival's foreign guests. Illustrator Saki Matsumoto will select the most interesting from the current Japanese illustration scene for the festival, and the Showcase of Young Talents section will present the freshest work in the Czech and foreign scenes. Visitors can also look forward to workshops for adults and children, presentations, live comic book readings, and meetings with authors they have always wanted to meet.
