*International Festival of Illustration and Comics.* Each year, LUSTR presents around a hundred artists, from historical greats to those of the youngest generation. For more than a decade, the organisers have been connecting artists from the Czech Republic and around the world, leafing through the most beautiful books together and passing on their know-how to each other at workshops and lectures. For the 11th year of the festival, there will be, for example, an exhibition of comics of ten unusual genres, where big international stars will shine, a New York lounge offering the best of the local scene thanks to the selection of world-famous American illustrator David Huang, or young Ukrainian illustrators thematizing the future under the baton of illustrator and curator Anna Sarviry. In addition, as every year, participants can look forward to a varied Showcase, for which the jury selects authors, artists and collectives from entries received from all over the world, or a varied accompanying programme for children and adults, laics and professional.
