Kateřina Geislerová

As a very successful fashion designer, Kateřina Geislerová works mainly in Paris – the center of world fashion, where she also has her boutique – but you can also buy her beautiful clothing online at her e-shop or at the Mona Pret-a-porter boutique in Prague's Old Town. Clothing by Kateřina Geislerová is characterized by its soft femininity, sophistication, and elegance. She likes to design pants, dresses, coats, as well as skirts and tops with emphasized waistlines, décolletage and shoulder lines. She uses natural materials such as cotton, wool and silk and has all her clothing made in Prague. Kateřina Geislerová has studied at some of the best schools in Paris including the LISA art school (L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués), from which she graduated in 2001 with the best thesis work of the year. She found her first clients during her studies and after school she gained practice in some of the foremost fashion houses in Paris. She saw her first success already in 2002 at two design competitions and her first fashion show in Paris. One year later she founded her own brand and opened a showroom near the famous Champs-Élysées. At first she created only limited series clothing lines and unique custom-made pieces for her clients, but in 2004 she created a prêt-à-porter line that was presented in boutiques around Paris. Since 2007 you can find her boutique close to the iconic Centre Georges Pompidou.
