When one door closes, another opens – a saying everyone knows but one that Hana Hofmanová has truly experienced. After many years, she quit a stressful job and decided to simply rest. During this time, a friend requested a handknit sweater. As Hana Hofmanová had been knitting since she was a child, this was no problem for her. After this, many more requests came – about eighty, in fact. And so, quite organically – with respect and consideration for animals and nature as well - the Woolhof brand was born! The creative process of creating a sweater by hand of high quality materials fills this knit designer with immense happiness and satisfaction – and this is something that is purely evident in the final product. You can see the quality and quite simply, feel the happiness when wearing a Woolhof sweater. Hofmanová currently focuses on wool sweaters but plans on expanding her offer in the future.
