If you desire to take a piece of Prague with you - something more than a bunch of great memories - do take a look at the masterful pieces of craftwork by VJEMY Studio, inspired by the era of iconic Czech Cubism. This Prague studio, consisting of a design-architectural trio, creates interior designs, customized furniture designs as well as home accessories. The VJEMY Studio was established by the Ciegler brothers, Adam and Samuel, and Světlana Koženova in 2013. These three put emphasis on respect for nature, classical technologies and profound knowledge of the materials. This extraordinary kind of attitude is shown in all of their products and concepts of the studio, including the “carpenter’s table”, which is made of noble, centennial wood and wax. Nothing more, no glue at all. The beauty of this table is hidden in the details, such as proportions, joints and the wood itself. Construction of the table is an answer to the fact that wood is a living material – the more it twists and shrinks, the more the table gets stable and solid. Another example of the unique products by VJEMY Studio are Neocubist lights or the iconic collection of the geometric collection of glazed porcelain, inspired by Czech Cubism, including plates, bowls, cups, liquor glasses, mugs, teapots and more, all of which can be put together, creating beautiful sets. The product assortment comprises also servings boards, benches, small tables and more. What is more, the studio draws up construction concepts and interior designs, such as the Playbag brand showroom concept or the concept of an installation in the ZIBA Prague Glass Experience Museum.
