The Headless Lady
If you so happen to be unlucky enough to be wandering about the environs of the former convent of St. Mary Magdalene around the witching hour be sure to watch out for the Headless Lady! The Headless Lady was once a beautiful actress named Laura who performed at the Nostic Theater in Prague. She had many admirers, as she was very charming and very beautiful. Of course, her husband had a mean streak of jealousy. And so it was her beauty and his jealousy that in the end killed her. She was very much in love with a rich count that wished to win her hand and her heart away from her husband. One night after a performance she succumbed to the count and afterwards returned home. Her husband was suspicious of her whereabouts and after questioning her decided to take control of the situation and promptly cut off her head. After his ghastly act he sent the head of his wife to the count who buried the head in an unknown place, as he was frightened. The Headless Lady now spends her time wandering the former convent looking for her head; she is in fact frightening but not dangerous!
