Cafe Rudolfinum
Café Rudolfinum is a beautiful spacious café located in the Old Town district of Prague and situated in the Rudolfinum complex, which consists of a magnificent concert hall and a large art gallery. This swanky establishment features high ceilings, tall windows and parquet hard wood floors with elegant yet simple furnishings, tall potted palm plants and professional friendly staff members. The overall effect of the interior provides an attractive view of how a coffeehouse once looked at the end of the 1800s. The gorgeous complex that houses the spacious art gallery, the concert hall and the café was designed by J. Schulz, who also designed the National Theater in Prague, is a beautiful example of neo Renaissance architecture in central Europe. The location of the Rudolfinum complex is an important one as it creates a cultural center in the heart of Prague alongside the Faculty of Philosophy, the Academy of Decorative Arts and the Museum of Decorative Arts. Café Rudolfinum features an affordable and extensive menu with breakfast items, light meals, soups, snacks, desserts, coffees, beer, wine and more.
