Bike and Dine
If you want to see the city of Prague and the Czech Republic in a different manner than most – why not try a tour with Bike and Dine? Operated by George Pacurar of Bikerentals.cz– bike lover and collector of steel frame road bikes from the 70s and 80s (which you will ride!) - Bike and Dine’s philosophy is one that “eating and riding a bike are among the most fun things you can do with your clothes on.” If this sounds like your cup of tea – hop on and join one of the fun tours offered through Bike and Dine (self guided or w/ a Bike and Dine colleague accompanying you; please see Bike and Dine’s user friendly website where you can find their interesting tours). The ideal combination of cycling and eating will leave you feeling exercised and satisfied – and will open your eyes to a new way of experiencing a city and its culture. Enjoy gorgeous sights and scenery, burn off some calories, and then treat yourself to some tasty food – and even make some new friends along the way. The bike tours on average are anywhere from 30 to 50 kms (one way, the journey back is by train), equaling at least two hours of cycling with some added walking thrown in. The tours are quite tame – meaning you don’t have to be extremely physically fit – you just have to know how to ride a bike. If you would rather just take a bike tour without dining, have a look at the tours Bikerentals.cz offers, available for individuals or larger groups. Get on your bike, ride, & dine!
