Hunt Kastner Artworks

Located in the blossoming, up-and-coming art scene of Holesovice, Praha 7 is Hunt Kastner Artworks. This independent gallery was originally opened to support about a dozen young and aspiring Czech contemporary artists including Tomáš Vanêk and Michael Thelenová, whose talent needed to be prevalent in the art scene of central Europe. Hunt Kastner Artworks has succeeded in letting the whole world know about the local artistic talent thanks to their international exhibitions in locations such as London, Vienna, Miami and Basel and their commitment to the world of contemporary Czech art. The strategic location of the gallery is smart as Holesovice draws many art lovers thanks to its industrial architecture, the Veletrzni Palace, where you can find the National Gallery’s collection of modern and contemporary art and the Dox Center for Contemporary Art. Hunt Kastner Artworks works closely with private and corporate collectors and assists in building high quality and unique collections of Czech contemporary art. Other services include commissioning of site specific artwork, loan of artworks, framing and installation, transportation, shipping and insurance, viewings of other private art collections, art itineraries for visitors from abroad and more. Hunt Kastner Artworks is free to the public and is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. or by appointment.
