Glorchestra: Christian Löffler in Rudolfinum

*The third year of the *Glorchestra project – a fusion of symphony orchestra and modern music genres from hip hop, through alternative electronics and songwriting, to pop and dance music.** After sold-out concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris, Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie, London's St. Johns At Hackney-Church and Brussels' Henry Le Boef Hall, Christian Löffler and the Detect Ensemble are coming to Prague thanks to the Glorchestra project. The Parallels project is a symbiosis of loops from 100-year-old recordings of classical music greats, Löffler's ambient tempos and live inputs from the Detect Ensemble string quartet. The Prague concert will take place in the surroundings of the Dvořák Hall in Prague's Rudolfinum and will be the last performance of the project in the line-up after two years of touring. Löffler has attracted attention with his album Parallels: Shellac Reworks by Christian Löffler (released on the classical music label Deutsche Grammophon), on which he has created distinctive downtempo sound versions of works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Smetana. The vision of the Glorchestra project is to combine the symphony orchestra and modern music genres, from hip hop to alternative electronics and songwriting to pop and dance music. The launch of Parallels thus seamlessly builds on previous editions. *Practical informations:* - The event is open to audiences 18+. - Dress code: Creative black tie.
