*Freak folk pioneer CocoRosie celebrates 20 years on the scene with a special unplugged performance called *Come Find Me.** Sister duo Sierra and Bianca Casady aka CocoRosie, who combine elements of pop, blues, electronica, hip hop and opera, known especially for their original poetics, will offer a concert with an extraordinary stage presence and unique sound that will delight fans and new listeners alike. Sierra Casady is a classically trained opera singer and theater actress and Bianca Casady is a poet, theater director and visual artist. Together, the sisters use music, theatrical movement practices, fashion and contemporary art to create work that reflects the beauty and sadness of our collective experience. Through their art, they advocate for human rights, challenge social norms, and often play with various taboos. In the past, they have collaborated with names such as Anohni of Antony and the Johnsons, the Kronos Quartet and avant-garde theatre director Robert Wilson. With a unique unplugged performance, CocoRosie will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a cross-section of their work to date, including their latest compositions. The concert is organised by Rachot production agency as part of the Respect Festival.
