Komiks Indoor Rave: Chlär + Pink Concrete + more
To close out the 10th anniversary of Komiks Rave, members of the Komiks crew are pleased to welcome DJ and producer Chlär (Primal Instinct records). Chlär, who is also one half of the Funk Assault project, has been on the Komiks crew's radar for quite some time, booking was arranged in conjunction with the industrial space. Chlär's Detroit-influenced techno in a space with over a century of history. The walls of this space bear witness to the heavy industrialisation of Prague and the introduction of electricity that powered the famous tram network. Part of the building was formerly used as a streetcar shed, housing the heavy machinery that is still there today. Over time, the purpose of the building changed from distributing electricity to burning oil to heat the Veletržní palác and other nearby industrial buildings. The comic crew has big plans for the interior, including lights, a huge sound system and decorations. Because this Komiks will be special, it will go on until late (11:00 am) and start early with half price bar prices from 9:00pm to 11:00pm.
