Musica Orbis 2025: San Jose Youth Symphony
The programme of the concert will open with the Prelude to the musical Funny Face (1927) by the American composer George Gershwin, followed by the composition Navarra (1889) for two violins and orchestra by the Spanish romantic violin virtuoso Pablo de Sarasate, and the evening will culminate with the monumental Symphony No. 5 "Fate" (1808), one of Ludwig van Beethoven's iconic works and a pillar of the world symphonic repertoire.
