Serafedin's paintings are distinguished by their characteristic palette of colours and dynamic work with a spatula, which he uses to layer the different shades of colour on the canvas. In his works, Serafedino combines elements of modern expressionism and figurative motifs. Common themes in his work include city streets, musicians and dancers, whose movement he captures in rhythmic sequences.
Serafedino worked for nearly 40 years in the Montmartre district of Paris, where he was “inspired by the cosmopolitan atmosphere, the streets full of artists and the energy of the famous cabarets”. Gradually, however, he became enchanted by “the temperament of the southern regions and the passion of Spanish culture”, which was reflected in his dynamic compositions and contrasts of colour.
The exhibition offers a glimpse of a body of work that many believe “combines Parisian elegance with the lively temperament of Spain”. **Volodymyr Kolesnykov – [Behind everything look for a woman:](https://artpalaceprague.com/en/exhibitions/kolesnykov)** \ The exhibition Behind Everything Look for a Woman offers a look at the work of Ukrainian painter Volodymyr Kolesnykov.
Kolesnykov's works explore “feminine beauty, mystery and an emotionally charged world”, which he depicts with poetic depth and expressive colour. His paintings combine the human figure with natural motifs and symbolism, creating a dreamlike atmosphere combined with subtle elegance. The exhibition will showcase a range of Kolesnyk's works – from scenes inspired by nature to dynamic compositions full of movement and emotion.
His bold colour palette and complex compositions give the paintings aesthetic depth and visual harmony. He draws inspiration from Ukrainian culture and personal experiences, which come to life in his works in the form of symbolic motifs.
These elements, according to many, give his work its atmosphere and poetry.
