David Lynch – Up in Flames
For the first time in the Czech Republic, the exhibition of American artist David Lynch will present the artistic work of this icon of world cinema, focusing on drawings, photographs, lithographs, watercolours and short experimental and animated films. At the same time, it will present works from all of the artist's creative periods, from the late 1960s to the present. The exhibition will not be chronological, but will follow specific formal or thematic connections that, among other things, characterise David Lynch's work. A major part of the exhibition will consist of works on loan directly from The David Lynch Estate in Los Angeles, but the project will also include a number of works (lithographs and photographs) created at Item éditions in Paris. Exhibition Up in Flames will also offer a wide range of accompanying programmes, especially with a focus on film, contemporary experimental music and literature.Singer Michael Marcagi will perform on 3 February 2026 at the Akropolis Palace in Prague.
