Closer Architects, an architectural studio founded by several students during their studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2005, operates with the basic idea of working as closely as possible with clients when creating architectural designs, as well as to craftsmen during implementation phases. Over the course of time the team of architects active in the project was reduced to the two main members of the team, Ing. arch. Martin Čermák and Ing. arch. Matěj Beránek who like to deal mostly with comprehensive building projects from initial studies to interior design and implementation including solutions of all operational and functional matters. From the very beginning, Closer Architects has worked with 3D designs, so that they can better verify every detail and view. They always pay attention to the fact that the construction is set sensitively in the surrounding environment and concentrate on even the smallest details, which is evident also from a range of interior elements originating in their studio including atypical furniture pieces and their design line of hidden doors and handles offered through the Door Design Company. Emphasis is also put on on-site supervision, so that the resulting project corresponds to the original intention to the last detail.
