Luhačovice Lázně

Luhačovice Spa or Luhačovice Lázně is located in pretty southern Moravia, situated closer to Vienna, making it the perfect getaway from the bustling cities of the Czech Republic or Austria. The largest spa town in Moravia, it is simply lovely and boasts many gorgeous period buildings including many artistic gems built in the early 1900s by architect Dušan Jurkovič, impressive villas and alpine houses from the 19th and early 20th century, Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings, as well as Functionalist buildings. In fact the whole town resembles something of a dreamy fairy tale set amongst dense lush forests on the gentle beginning slopes of the White Carpathian Mountains, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing and invigorating spa experience. Due to the natural curative springs located in the town, the spa is able to successfully treat disorders of the locomotive organs, diabetes, diseases of the respiratory tract and blood circulation diseases. The spa town offers many spa hotels to choose from, all of them being in beautiful historic buildings and all of which range in architectural style. Luhačovice Lázně offers not only wellness treatments but also sporting activities including tennis courts, mini golf, bowling, fitness studios, bike rentals, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and many hiking possibilites. The Social side of life is not ignored either at Luhačovice Lázně, and the town hosts regular events, festivals and activities such as classical concerts in the colonnades, balls, violin lessons, wine tasting, theater performances, folklore ensembles and much more. Trips can also be organized from Luhačovice Lázně to nearby castles, chateaux, wine cellars and historic villages.
