I Need Coffee!
Situated off of Palackého náměstí is I Need Coffee!, a lovely little coffee shop that serves a damn good cup of joe! This delightfully cozy, yet modern cafe serves delicious coffee drinks brewed from La Boheme beans and available in the an espresso, macchiato, Americano, cappuccino, piccolo and latte. If you feel like something different than coffee, why not try a Provencal Pastis, Italian Aperol, Campari & soda, or Crodino (a non alcoholic aperitif)? I Need Coffee! serves hot and cold teas and wines as well. The cool industrial-chic interior is really very sleek and elegant and features large format windows (perfect for people watching), an exposed vaulted ceiling, concrete floors, a simple light wood counter with matching benches, and a chalkboard wall with the menu scribbled on it. Two large pastel beach scene paintings complete the space. The simple adornment of the white walls with the beach scenes paired with the equally simple interior design creates a cozy and clean atmosphere that simply feels like home.. if you lived in a cool minimalistic industrial flat in a large urban city that is. Should you need a light snack to enjoy alongside your coffee, don't miss the homemade soup and the desserts – oh the desserts! The desserts are fresh daily, so there is always a variety of these delectable treats. We absolutely love the homemade carrot cake, the macarons, and the ginger chocolate cookies.
