Ivana Trump (1949 – )

Ivana Trump (born Ivana Marie Zelníčková Winklmayr) was born in 1949 in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia, now Zlín, Czech Republic. Ivana Trump was a natural talent when it came to skiing, a skill that was encouraged by her father. In 1972 she was selected to be a part of the Czechoslovak Olympic Ski Team, which made it possible for her to travel several times outside of the repressed Communist Bloc of the time. After marrying a childhood friend who had become a Canadian citizen, Ivana Marie Zelníčková Winklmayr was able to receive a foreign passport. After obtaining a Master’s Degree from the esteemed Charles University in Prague, Ivana then move to Montreal, Canada to live with her husband and to model for Canada’s elite fur companies. After divorcing her first husband, she moved to New York in 1976 to advance the olympics in Montreal and met Donald J. Trump, her soon to be husband. Ivana and Donald were married in a luxurious wedding and soon became the toast of New York’s high society and business class. The couple had three children together. After a very public divorce from Donald, Ivana went on to remarry two more times. Ivana Trump made a name for herself as a major part of the Trump operation and was named hotelier of the year in 1990 for her dedication and work at the famous New York Plaza Hotel. Ivana Trump has also developed clothing, jewelry and beauty lines alongside writing several books. She appeared on the hit reality show Celebrity Big Brother in January 2010.
