Věra Nováková
Jewelry designer Věra Nováková has been involved in designing and producing original jewelry in small collections since 2001. Even though she uses traditional techniques and materials, she chooses less traditional procedures. A particular jewelry design is always preceded by experimentation and the search for the perfect form and shape. A challenge for her is dealing with this idea and giving it the form of a more or less traditional piece of jewelry. Věra Nováková is convinced that the best presentation her jewelry can have is by being worn. Her clients all over the world wear her rings, pins, bracelets, necklaces, cuff buttons, earrings, wedding rings and other jewelry pieces made of white gold, patinated silver, gold-plated silver, gold, silver, with gemstones or pearls. Věra Nováková presents her jewelry at various exhibitions and she regularly takes part in the Designblok exhibition. Věra Nováková studied at the Secondary School of Metal Processing and Gemstones (SUPŠ) in Trutnov. In 2001, she graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague at the metal and jewel studio of professor V. K. Novák. Her jewelry collections were presented with many awards and in 2009 the Czech jewelry designer Věra Nováková was ranked among one thousand most significant jewelry designers of the world presented in the prestigious publication Compendium. Jewelry by Věra Nováková can be purchased at Qubus by DOX, Kubista, Futurista, Artěl and other places in Prague and the Czech Republic.
