The institute, founded in January 2008, revives the tradition of the First Republic, when famous chefs commonly offered cooking classes for the public. The wide selection of courses at the Prague Culinary Institute are here for professional cooks who are interested in enhancing their qualifications as well as for laymen who just want to learn a few new tricks for their home kitchen to impress their families and visitors. Among the most popular courses are the ones focusing on the latest gastronomical trends, the regular lectures from the best chefs from around the world, courses for absolute beginners, grilling courses as well as the regular summer courses of cooking, also focusing on beginners. However, the institute also offers courses for sommeliers and wine lovers, ethics/etiquette courses for F&B managers and custom courses to fit all your needs and interests. All of the courses take place in Suchdol, a peaceful area of Prague 6, in an attractive spacious building featuring a big training-kitchen as well as superbly equipped classroom.
