Rock Cafe

Rock Cafe is much more than a cool rock venue for local and international independent bands. Advantages include its central location as well as the fact that it is a multimedia venue. The main room with the stage is large and has good sound as well as an inexpensive bar with tasty beer. There is also a big side room complete with another bar, comfortable seats and screens showing the onstage action. The music styles the club focuses on include rock, punk, ska, punk rock, indie, hardcore, rockabilly, crossover, funk etc. The program of the club also includes regular projects for new bands (The Rock Café Contest, Free Zones - Tuesdays completely free of charge). Nowadays the club is getting ready for a reconstruction, which should make it more soundproof. The reconstruction should be finished at the beginning of September and the venue will feature live bands again from September 9th, which will also be the date of an opening celebration party. The upstairs of Rock Cafe features a fully stocked bar with more comfortable seats and a gallery and PC corner. Beside the music room, the multiple bars and the gallery you can also find the so-called Rock Cabaret – a space that offers alternative genres such as theater, experimental performances, literary evenings and film screenings. Rock Cafe is a guaranteed fun night out with friends and good music and in accordance with its motto "Rock Café - Your third ear", it offers something interesting for everyone.
